[Opening] Paris Radio Show 2026: let’s get into action

LE FORUM (RDC)

This inaugural session sets the tone for the Paris Radio Show 2026 and offers a strategic, international, and forward-looking perspective on the future of radio and audio. La Lettre Pro de la Radio unveils the initial results of La Lettre Pro SociAudio 2025 RCS/XPERI, the first annual survey dedicated to the confidence, morale, and working conditions of French-speaking radio and digital audio professionals.

It will open with a broad overview of the sector in France and Europe, highlighting the strength of radio, its unique assets (proximity, trust, regional roots) and the major challenges it faces today: changing uses, platforms, AI, discoverability, sovereignty, financing, and regulation.

An international overview of the radio market will then place France in a global context, with a clear call to action for radio stations to innovate, diversify, cooperate, and assert the strategic value of audio in the media ecosystem. Continuing on this theme, the session will present UNESCO's World Radio Day 2026, dedicated to the theme of artificial intelligence and radio, highlighting the challenges of responsibility, creativity, technological transformation, and public service.

Finally, a forward-looking vision will open the debate on the future of audio formats, long-form, audio storytelling, and new uses, with the ambition of bringing together energies around a shared vision of the radio of tomorrow.

A manifesto sequence to launch two days of debates, initiatives, and “Audio Action.”
